Used for descaling steam generators particularly in hard water areas. The single biggest problem of operating a steam generator is the build up of limescale from solids dissolved in the water - left untreated the scale will enclose the elements, trap in the heat causing overheating and premature failure - the limescale will also cover over the water level sensors so that they can no longer sense the water causing the boiler either not to fill or to overfill depending which sensor fails first. The answer is to descale the inside of the boiler on a regular basis with a solution of mild acid. Simple to use - supplied with full instructions - 500 grams will provide up to 10 descalings depending on the size of generator.
