How to Use Your Rento Himalayan Salt Chunks
Using your Himalayan salt chunks is quick and easy:
- Place the salt pieces in a heat-resistant bowl and place the bowl on the cold sauna stones before using the sauna, or on the
- Heat your sauna as normal. The salt chunks will gradually warm up along with the sauna stones.
- Pour water onto the sauna stones as you usually would. The steam will pass over the warmed salt, creating a pleasant, mineral-rich sauna experience.
- Allow the salt chunks to cool before handling after your sauna session.
- Replace when necessary. Over time, the salt chunks will naturally dissolve and may crack or reduce in size with regular use. Simply replace them when required.
Tip: Avoid pouring water directly onto the salt chunks. Instead, pour water over the surrounding sauna stones to help prolong their lifespan while still enjoying their benefits.
Caution: Never put salt chunks directly on the heating elements or hot rocks. Direct heat can crack the salt, melt it, or ruin your heater
