Product Description

Sauna Wood Cladding dimensions

9mm or 18mm thickness x 95mm width (including 6mm overlap) 12 lengths required per linear meter.
Available in half meter packs of 6 x 1895mm or 6 x 2100mm

Calculating the number of lengths of cladding required

Work out the number of lengths for each wall and ceiling individually
Number of lengths of cladding = Wall length in meters x 12
Length of cladding for walls = Internal ceiling height

Sauna cladding per linear meter

Ideal ceiling height

If using an Oceanic Sauna Door the external height of the door frame is 1875mm. If building a free standing structure with frames and a base a typical height for the cladding is 1895mm.
A lower ceiling height makes a more efficient sauna as heat rises. If you prefer a taller sauna you will need to consider the area above the door also needs cladding.
For the ceiling cladding work out which direction you want the cladding to be fitted, normally along the longer distance for fewer fixings. Note longest cladding length Oceanic Saunas can supplu is 4.2m, lengths longer than our standard 1.895 or 2.1m will require a bespoke shipping quotation.

Product Features

LED Behind Backrest Lighting

Concealed linear LED lighting behind the 3 slat ergonomically curved backrests illuminate the walls with a subtle glow that create a subdued and relaxing atmosphere.

Canadian Hemlock Cladding

Western Canadian Hemlock is an ideal timber for use in saunas for a number of key reasons; it does not warp even when exposed to extreme conditions, it is knot and resin free, very hard and strong and has an attractive straight grain. Utilising the hidden nail technique securely fixes the cladding to the panel frame providing a clean finish.

Oceanic Vision Sauna Hemlock Cladding

Extra Deep 6 Slat Bench

The extra deep 6 slat bench is manufactured from Abachi, a knot free timber which has very low thermal conductivity remaining cooler to the touch, the bench measures 520mm in depth.
